2017 Spring Half Marathon & 25K Training Group
Starts Saturday January 7th - Ask about it at Striders!

Training for and completing a ½ Marathon or 25K is a challenging and rewarding endeavor. Participants in our 18-week program benefit from our coaches, experienced mentors, and managed group workouts on the Grand Rapids area’s best paths. 

We welcome first-timers and veterans looking for a structured program that will prepare them to run a personal best!

Program Info:

  • $60 program cost.
  • Individualized training in a group setting. 
  • Extra discounts at stores on shoes and apparel.
  • Tech fabric training shirt.
  • Training plan with weekly coach notes + support.
  • Organized 7:30am Saturday long runs supported with nutrition/hydration along the route.
  • Wednesday 6:00pm group runs with benefits.
  • Monthly running clinics.
  • Training group discounts at Striders: 15% shoes, 20% apparel, 10% nutrition & accessories January 1st - May 30th.
  • Discount on Winter Blast 5K Entry.

Extended Program Option (Full Marathon):

  • $75 program cost.
  • Same perks as the basic program, but training continues 2 additional weeks until Bayshore Marathon.
  • Longer Saturday runs than the half/25k plan to prepare you for the marathon distance.
